Originally created for a 125 years of Dracula Celebration, The response was so exciting that I have made a second run for people who could not attend the event.
I based the drawing on the known portraits of Vlad the Impaler, the 15th Century German Woodcuts were inspirational. I researched the clothing worn by nobel warriors in his region and time period to create a handsome charismatic psychopath worthy of the legend.
These are Giclée prints made of my original pen&ink work. To give them a worn, aged look then I soaked them in black tea and baked them. Lastly I liberally splashed them with “blood” each one is unique. They are each signed and dated.
There is a 3 week turnaround due to the attention each one requires. These prints will be sent out by the 17th of October, you will have them for Halloween.
